Jobless

This documentary, filmed in 2005, follows the journey of one man trying to find work in the down and out economy of Rockford, IL. When unemployment reached nearly 16 percent last summer I felt compelled to finish up this film so others can understand the every day struggles residents of Rockford must endure in order to fine work.

The Kleptones - Interlude

With my second addition to the Videotones project I decided to takes a darker approach to kicking off the Downtime album. Videos from all over the internet were pulled together to make "Interlude" transform into a melodic and almost esoteric video that starts Downtime on an almost sinister tone. The track "Interlude" is available on The Kleptones double album Uptime/Downtime.

More information about the Videotones project can be found here.

Project Sunrise

On February 4th, 2008 I pulled into work and took a quick picture of the morning sky with my cellphone. For the next two years I did that every time I pulled into work. This is all those pictures put together and set to music. I hope you enjoy it and if you are interested in seeing all the pictures you can find them online.

The Kleptones - MKY Da HVN

Here is my addition to the Videotones project where someone is editing a video for every Kleptones song on Uptime/Downtime. Using music video footage from Munk, Nas, The Pixies and Rage Against the Machine, this video mashup creates a 1960's psychedelic rock video feel before unleashing a full on rock assault thanks to "Killing in the Name." The track MVK Da HVN is available on The Kleptones double album Uptime/Downtime.

More information about the Videotones project can be found here.

My Crib

After a few weeks of Grandma asking for a video of my new house I finally broke down and made one. Rather than make a run of the mill video tour I decided to make it just like an episode of MTV Cribs. I think I matched it up pretty good and it ends up being a fairly extensive tour of my house. I did however forget to show off my Half Life resistance brick.

Beer Wars

Back in 2005 I received an email from a someone who found this video on an old VHS tape he had. It was originally edited by a guy named Curt Markham and I was asked to preserve this edit using the newest Star Wars DVD. It turned out good and was a lot of fun and I even got a few emails from Curt Markham saying he liked the preservation effort. Hopefully you like it too.

My Trip to the Pacific Northwest

This is a video summary of our trip to the Pacific Northwest for my friend Laura's wedding.

Snow Dog

Here is a random video of my dog playing in the snow.

The Devil Within Trailer

This is a trailer for a movie that never got made. It was a fake documentary about a film crew who happens to be following a serial killer.

*FUN FACT* The whole trailer was edited in 15 minutes.

Beard Removal

For seven months I grew a super awesome beard that I really liked. When I felt it was time to get rid of it I thought it would be neat to show people the process. I hope it's entertaining to people who don't know me but I'm sure it's not.

Foosball

One night while sitting around drinking my cousin challenged me to film and edit a short film in under an hour. 45 minutes later this masterpiece was burned to DVD.

Warmouth - "Above It All"

I edited this music video together for a band out of Rockford, IL called 'Warmouth.' The only downside was I had no band footage to work with so I improvised and used only footage from "Night of the Living Dead."

The Trifles Logos

Here are some logos I have done in 3D for the band 'The Trifles.'

Awards Show Open

Here is an awards show open I did for the "2005 Dentures and Bridgework Awards." Sadly the Dentures and Bridgework Awards don't exist. I'm sure they would have some really great acceptance speeches.

Tank Battle (Abandoned)

This is a 3D project I was working on but never got the opportunity to finish. Everything was quite temp at this point but it's still a neat little video. Just think of what could have been.

Many Me

Sometimes when you own a camera and have some time on your hands you do some weird things.

Boom!

One day I happened to be checking my mail with a camera in hand when I looked across the street and though...."I wonder if I can make it look like that building blew up?" As it turns out I can.
